Field Trips and Assemblies

This page is dedicated to the many field trips and assemblies we take and attend in fourth grade.  Many of these are directly related to our study of science and social studies, as well as our learning of positive behaviors and celebrations of learning!

PBIS Assembly!    Friday, September 13, 2012

Last Friday we celebrated the first week of school with our annual school assembly!  This assembly is meant to welcome all grade levels and teachers back to school.  This year's assembly focused on our new school wide discipline program ~ PBIS!

Mr. Geiger shared information about PBIS with us.  We learned about our clip chart system, the voice scale system, we reviewed the behavior matrix, watched videos, and cheered on teachers as they participated in the PBIS Family Feud!

All Luther Elementary staff wore purple t-shirts that read "I am ready to help you learn!" and students wore purple shirts that read "I am ready to learn!"  On the back of the shirts were our 3 B's...

          Be Respectful!!
          Be Responsible!!
          Be Safe!!
          Be Reading to Learn!!!

Visit the Luther website to view videos regarding Above the Live behavior.  View the School District of Fort Atkinson's website to see our elementary principals, Direction of Special Education and Instruction, and our district Superintendent participate in a PBIS video!
